1. How to delete your account
You can delete your account directly from within the app:
- Open the CarWhats Talabat app.
- Go to Settings → My Account.
- Tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm the deletion request.
Note: deletion is immediate. Your account and wallet are gone (wallet balance is cashed out before deletion via support).
2. What happens on deletion?
- Your account is removed from the app immediately and you can no longer sign in.
- Your personal data (name, email, phone, address) is erased within 30 days.
- Invoice / order records are kept for 5 years for accounting (with your personal info anonymized).
- If you are a merchant, you must close pending orders + settle the wallet before deletion.
- If you are a driver, you must settle outstanding cash + close ongoing orders.
3. Delete only specific data
Want to keep your account but remove specific data (old addresses, photos)? Email us at support@carwhats.com and we'll handle it within 7 business days.
4. Deleting from outside the app
If you lost access to the app (phone lost, number deactivated):
Email support@carwhats.com from your registered email (if any) or provide your phone number + last order ID for identity verification. Your account will be deleted within 7 business days of identity confirmation.
5. Can a deleted account be restored?
No. Deletion is final. If you want to come back later, create a new account with a different phone number, or the same number after 30 days from deletion.
